Good to see some public transport here that's obviously looked after, clean, smooth, with no graffiti. Too many other countries have an attitude towards public transport as we do in the UK, apart from in the TFL region.I think the only time I rode a tram in Darmstadt was June 1993. The trams were from an earlier time, and the announcements were made by the driver. Quite ancient in comparison with Frankfurt am Main where I was living back then.You should have come to Kassel which has the oldest tram network in Germany and very old, refurbished and rebuild Trams! This is more better than at Darmstadt. And we have nice Relay-controlled Trams but also VF Driven Trams 😉👍
